Greetings! My name is Monique J. Huff and I am running for re-election as your Judge of Dallas County Criminal Court No. 10, a family violence court.

Compassion.

The issues involved in domestic violence are unique and complex. These issues often result in anger and violence and law enforcement gets involved.

As an experienced lawyer and advocate well-versed in the nuances of domestic violence and the law, I am running for County Criminal Court No. 10 to be a place of justice for all! I want victims to feel safe and reassured that their words will be heard. I want those accused to feel as if they received their constitutionally guaranteed day in Court and NOT like a criminal on a conveyor belt who is convicted before trial begins. And I want to provide programs for rehabilitation for those who seek to change. Most importantly, I want to provide resources to address some of the underlying issues contributing to domestic violence--financial education, job resources, and counseling (Anger Management & Life Skills).

I plan on an efficient Court that works together with compassion, justice, and respect for all. Be Seen. Be Heard.
